Our Mission – Better Educate the World
Our mission is to invest in education to “better educate the world”. We feel strongly that a smarter, educated, population will empower individuals to do more for themselves, their families, and the world.
Education is power and we want to plant the seeds of an generation empowered through knowledge and insight. What more can we do if we improve access to education throughout the world. It all starts with what we do every day to make the people around us better through education.
Our foundation was created to take in donations to be used for the above cause. Originally named the Edvisors Foundation as the majority of funds came from the Edvisors Corporation, it has since been renamed the International Citizens Fund to better reflect the more global nature of our work and the shift in funding away from Edvisors to the International Citizens Group, Inc.
Our History
In August of 2005, the father and son team of Joseph Marr Cronin and Joseph Cronin, Jr. created the foundation to partner together to meet the challenges of educating today’s youth. At the time, Joe, Jr. was President of Edvisors and dedicated 10% of profits to fund the cause. Sine then, Edvisors has been sold and International Citizens Group, Inc., Mr. Cronin’s newest company, continues to support the newly named International Citizens Fund.
